Good news… In the last two weeks we have been given more than R600,000 ($60,000) to help buy the training property.
More good news… Today I received word of a low-interest loan to for for the property for R1.2 million (about $120,000). We are incredibly encouraged!!
But… with 21 more days to go until 45 students arrive for our next church planting/leadership training school, it’s getting close to the deadline. I know God is never late so we are trusting for a complete miracle.
We are close! Here is what we still need to buy the property:
• Gifts of R350,000 ($35,000) to cover transfer and closing costs
• A short term loan to cover VAT of R539,000 (about $55,000). For non-South Africans VAT is ‘Value Added Tax.’ We are a VAT registered non-profit organization, which means we qualify for the VAT to be returned to us. Our accountant says that will happen within 21 working days of our application.
We are trusting God – and letting you know our need. Please pray with us, will you?
